Torrox-Costa is located next to the sea, in the south of Spain, Andalusia, east of the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga, 4 km from the mountain village of Torrox.
Torrox-Costa is a seaside resort frequented by tourists. It is 25 minutes from the center of Malaga and its seaport and 40 minutes by motorway from the Pablo Ruiz PICASSO International Airport of MÁLAGA.
Nerja
Nerja is also located next to the sea, south of Spain, on the Costa del Sol and less than 10 minutes by car or bus from Torrox-Costa.
Nerja has a long and ancient history, as reflected in the numerous cave paintings discovered in the famous “Cuevas de Nerja” in 1959. Its coastline has well-known beaches, among which Burriana beach.

Andalusia (Andalucía in Spanish) is a region of Spain that is one of the seventeen autonomous communities of the country ( Autonomous Community of Andalusia). It is south of the Iberian Peninsula. It is bordered on the south by the Mediterranean Sea (Sea of Alborán) and Gibraltar, and its vegetation and climate are typically Mediterranean.
Andalusia (Andalucía) and Málaga – Costa Del Sol
The province of Málaga is located in the southern autonomous region on the Mediterranean coast. It is bordered to the south by the Mediterranean Sea, west by the province of Cadiz, north by the provinces of Seville and Cordoba and east by the province of Granada. Much of the province’s economic activity is linked to the tourism industry, including all the resorts on the Costa del Sol, frequented by millions of holidaymakers.
The Costa Del Sol with Nerja and Torrox-Costa
Torrox is a town in the Malaga region of La Axarquía, on the east side of the Costa del Sol in Malaga. It is in the vicinity of the Sierra Almijara. The municipality of Torrox is divided into two towns: Torrox Pueblo (in the interior) is 4 km from the coast, in the mountains and Torrox-Costa (on the seashore). Torrox-Costa is an international tourist spa center open all year, recognized and equipped with multiple services. Inhabited by local residents and visited by tourists from around the world, it has a strong presence of Germans, English and French and all its languages are spoken in the locality.
Torrox is next to the beautiful and well-known city of Nerja. It is a cosmopolitan city with a great influx of tourism throughout the year. In the center of the village, there is the famous Balcón de Europa, a viewpoint that offers an impressive view of the sea. The name of this viewpoint was granted by King Alfonso XII of Spain who visited the city in 1885.
Torrox-Costa and its promenade
Torrox-Costa has the recognition of having the “BEST CLIMATE OF EUROPE” (around 330 days of sunshine per year !!!!), with daily temperatures in winter around 15º to 20ºC.
There are all kinds of services in Torrox-Costa, such as 5 brands of supermarkets (LIDL, ALDI, SUPERSOL, DIA and MERCADONA), banks, bus station, taxi stand, newspaper and magazine sales, internet cafe, laundries, pharmacies , clothing stores, bakeries, post office, gas stations, private medical clinic, small grocery stores that even open on Sunday mornings, etc.
Torrox-Costa has a very attractive Promenade, easily accessible for small children and people with reduced mobility. It is very used early in the morning for sports (you can go for a run or walk along the beach for 4 km). And in the afternoon and evening it is frequented by families who stroll among the small shops and stalls that sell souvenirs and seasonal ornaments. The walk is flat, perfect for bicycles or skates, without danger because it is not close to the road.

Along this promenade are located our accommodations: the “CAPRI BUILDING” Residence, where you can enjoy a first floor apartment located next to the sea a few meters from the beach, practically with your feet in the water. The residence located in the complex “RESIDENCIAL COSTA DEL ORO, BLOCK 6”, is located next to the sea, with its feet in the sand, next to the Hotel Iberostar Málaga, on the first floor, apartment and spacious studio, in building with 3 elevators . Also the Residence “EDIFICIO MADRID Nº 89”, with an apartment on the 5th floor, a few meters from the beach. The residence “BUILDING CARABELA Nº 76”, with apartment on the 7th floor, in building with 3 elevators. And two other studios next to an apartment, on the 4th, 6th and 7th floors of the same residence “RUSELO BUILDING No. 5”, building with 2 lifts a few meters from the beach and with wonderful views of the sea, the beach and the promenade maritime.

On the street, which accesses Burriana beach, we can find the residence “BUILDING HAWAII, Nº5”, in a tropical paradise. The building with pool and gardens, is protected by tall trees, which makes this environment a peaceful and quiet place. The 2 bedroom apartment with south facing terrace, is located on the 3rd and last floor (with elevator) and with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea.
