How to get to SolSunSoleil in Nerja and Torrox-Costa

Nerja and Torrox-Costa are located in the south of Spain, in the province of Malaga, capital of the Costa del Sol. To get to Málaga you can take a variety of transports like plane, boat, train, bus, private car, etc.
To get to Malaga from other countries or from another part of Spain, we recommend the following alternatives:

By AIRPLANE to Málaga
Fly to Málaga Pablo Ruiz Picasso International Airport with one of the many budget airlines. Torrox-Costa and Nerja have an easy and fast access through the Mediterranean motorway (Motril-Almería direction, if we reach it from the western part of the Costa del Sol or from the city of Málaga) and it is only 40 minutes (55km) drive.
Important: check the validity of your passport or identity card because it has been many tenants who miss their holidays due to the expiry of their identity documents.
The maritime port of Málaga is reserved for vacation cruises. If you come from the African continent, you have several alternatives to get to Málaga.
The port of Algeciras is 190km. It is where you have the ferries between Spain and Morocco.
The port of Almeria is 155km. Shipping between Spain and Argelia.
By TRAIN to Málaga
From the north of Europe, there are several train lines that arrive in Málaga, passing through Madrid. The most common are:
Paris – Irún – Medina del Campo (or Zaragoza Delicias) – Madrid – Málaga, 14 hours trip.
Paris – Perpignan – Barcelona – Madrid – Málaga, 20 hours trip.

By CAR to Málaga
If you come in your own car, the route through Spain, from the north to the south, will be very pleasant for you.
Torrox-Costa is 1.000km from the french border by Irún following Paris-Bordeaux-Irun-Madrid-Granada (or vía Málaga)-Torrox-Costa. And 1180 km from the French border by Perpignan-Barcelone-Valence-Murcia (Lorca)-Granada-(or vía Málaga)-Torrox-Costa.
All the ride is by motorway with or without free toll.
Please find here the itineraray “Via Michelin” and then “calculate your route” with departure and destination address (you will have all the speed cameras set) and map to get in front the entrance to the building of your accommodation.
In Málaga “Costa Del Sol” to Nerja and Torrox-Costa
And from the city of Malaga, from its airport or its maritime port, you can travel to our accommodations in many different ways. It is very easy to get to Nerja from Malaga airport. On the Costa del Sol there is a very good transport network from Malaga to Nerja or any other part of Andalucia. From Malaga airport you can get to Nerja by bus, shuttle bus (with prior reservation), shuttle bus, taxi, private transfer or car.
Next we propose different forms like the train, bus, rent-a-car or taxi driver (this is the most confortable, we take you and drive directly to the apartment).
By TRAIN from Málaga airport
RENFE TRAIN. This is the cheapest way to get to Málaga city from the airport. You will easily find the station, managed by RENFE. It is opposite the exit of arriving travelers to Málaga. To get to the city center, take the line C1 which will take you to the Maria Zambrano stop in about ten minutes. The train runs every 20 minutes and costs 1.80 euro per person.

By BUS from Málaga airport
To get by bus from the airport to Torrox-Costa or Nerja there are two options that we detail below.
- BUS EMT Málaga. When leaving the airport, the bus stop is located on the right, just after leaving TERMINAL 3 (the terminal). The bus LÍNEA EXPRESS connects the airport to the center of Málaga. The entire journey takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on the traffic. Take the bus costs 4 euros per person. You have to pay your bus ticket to the driver. The airport connection to Malaga is with the company EMT Málaga, I believe it is the line number “A Express Aeropuerto”. You get off at Estación de Autobuses de Málaga (at the Bus Station of Malaga / Malaga Bus Station). This bus stops 5 meters from the one that goes to Torrox-Costa / Nerja (to where our accommodations are).
- From there, Estación de Autobuses de Málaga you take the bus for Torrox-Costa or Nerja with the company ALSA (Alsina Graell’s) or NEXCON (but not Puerto Málaga, this is not for you). Once in the Bus station main hall ask for the Alsa counter and buy tickets there for the bus. Get ticket from Kiosk or check out the App as some are more direct that others.
-Book direct shutle bus from Malaga Airport to Torrox-Costa or Nerja
To book the bus we access the website www.alsa.com. You mark Point of departure: “Malaga Airport” and Destination: “Torrox E or Nerja”, then you put the day and number of people and press “SEARCH” and the available services will appear.
-Book online Bus Malaga Airport to Torrox-Costa or Nerja. Download the alsa.com app and look for the available options to book.
As an alternative, there is also a public shuttle bus to Torrox-Costa or Nerja from the airport. You take the bus from the airport to the central station of Málaga and then to Torrox-Costa or Nerja (about 1 hour drive), it costs between 8 and 9 euros maximum per person. The shuttle company is ALSA (type Torrox E (Empalme) or Nerja) then click on your language and schedule ( from 06h30 till 23h00pm * except weekends). Allow 3 hours to arrive at the accommodation since your landing time (because of the bus schedules do not always connected, in addition to the recovery of luggage at the airport). There are very good bus connections with the small white villages around and the big cities.
In either of the two ways described above, our stop at Torrox-Costa is at the “Local Bus Station”, in front of the ALDI supermarket ( see picture ).
Or your stop in Nerja is at the “Nerja Central Bus Station”, after the bridge (see the picture).
Bus tickets can be bought at the ticket window at the station or on the alsa.com website. If you buy the tickets online you can get discounts and it is cheaper.
A note: at no time leave your suitcase and do not leave your bag, book or other on the seat next to you. If you put your suitcase in the bus hold, you sit next to the window to see that it is not taken away.
By SHUTTLE from Málaga airport
PRIVATE SHUTTLE is between — euros per person. The stop in Torrox-Costa is “Local Bus Stop” in front of the ALDI SUPERMARKET, or “Local Bus Stop” at the IBEROSTAR HOTEL.
The stop in Nerja, is “Local Bus Stop” near the CENTRO DE SALUD, (the health center), or “Local Bus Stop” at the hotel NERJA CLUB.

By TAXI from Málaga airport
TAXI is available at the Central Terminal of the airport that take you directly to your apartment. I can arrange your taxi transfer from Málaga airport to the accommodation at a cheaper price than the official, it remains at your disposal even if your flight is delayed. If this interests you, contact us in advance for the reservation.
With the taxi service it will take only 45 minutes to arrive from the airport to the apartment, it costs 70 euros for Torrox-Costa and 80 euros for Nerja. I need to know the airline, flight number and which airport you go to to get to Malaga airport. If you take it directly from the airport it costs between 95 and 120 euros or more.
